WORKSHOPS
I have discovered that I LOVE taking workshops! The projects are always so incredible and the creative energy that is felt from everyone taking it is great! I also love how you are in a situation that allows you at least 4 hours to totally concentrate on your project without any distractions. AHHHH.....time just for minis without being pulled away from them by other's needs! I have only been privileged enough to take 5 workshops so far but have been taught quite a bit.
1. Kari Bloom Art deco couch...........Loved it!!!
2. Two workshops from Barbara Stanton on miniature oil painting! Now, those classes were just incredible and I really love painting!
3. Two workshops from Valerie Casson who is such a sweet woman! I really love her style too. I am sharing two photos with you of the workshops that I took from her. The first one is a picture of a workshop that I took in 2008 of a Pull Toy and a small puppet theater for the nursery. (the doll was a purchase from a show)
The second photo is the workshop that I took in October 2009. Isn't this the sweetest letter holder? I hand painted it and had brought some tiny photos of images that I had copied to add to it. I am supposed to be taking a workshop from Rik Pierce this July on "The Crooked House". This workshop is making me so nervous as I have yet to build something and have never worked with paper clay! We will see what happens!
What workshops have you taken? I would love to hear about them!

FORGET THE NEW NAME!!!!!!
Well, after managing to mess up my blog so bad that I couldn't even get into it I have adjusted the settings back to the original name. Am I capable of being a blogger?? LOL.....I have been asking myself this for two days now! Anyway, I am hoping that someone is reading this blog and would love to have some feedback to know you are out there!!! I am looking forward to more sharing. I love everything that all of you are making and all of the inspiration that comes with it! Here are some more dolls to share from my past work!............Patty

New Domain Name
Well, I have messed my little blog up already....LOL......I decided after I had launched this that I really wanted a different address for it so decided to buy a domain name. I have managed to lose the one follower I had acquired(sorry Sylvia) and I can't read any comments because the address doesn't match with this page. NO worries though!!!! Google said it will take about three days to straighten out the new address and have it match the blog! Then it might be easy sailing from then on! I have some more pictures to share in the meantime! Thanks for stopping by!!!!.................Patty

Hello, This is my first post! I just want all of you to know that I have been enjoying following some of your blogs so much and have been so impressed with the wonderful sense of community here that I just had to join in. With the encouragement of Sylvia I have jumped in.
I have been a doll maker for the past 7 years and am looking forward to sharing some of my work with you. There will be so many other things to share too, as I am experimenting all of the time with anything to do with miniatures. I am really excited about this new venture and look forward to getting to know more of you and having the opportunity to share! Here are a few of the babies I have made in the past. All of my dolls are hand sculpted and are the perfect size for the 1:12 dollhouse. The babies measure between 1 1/2" and 1 3/4". The toddlers usually are 2" to 2 1/4". I will post some more pictures soon.......Patty
