I actually have a new baby to share and have two more dolls to dress. This little one looks so peaceful sleeping in her bed. I still need to make a blanket for Baby Sasha. The other Baby(Candace) I made about a year ago. She is dressed in the long Matinee Coat and looks just as peaceful! You can't see too well but she has small gold earrings too. Ahhh...makes me want to take a nap!!

PAPER GOODS!
I finally have all of my swap items made and am in the process of wrapping them! I am sooooo happy to be done with this. LOL.......I have paper burn out. I really enjoyed making these though and will be making some more items from paper. I had a couple of really great ideas come into my head while I made these of what else I can make with the enameled look. I love when that happens!! Once that creative door in our minds is opened all kinds of great ideas start flowing in! Anyway, I thought you might enjoy seeing what I have done. Which color do you like best? I really love the blue and the white with red accents. The secret to getting the great "enameled look" is using clear fingernail polish. Add several coats to stiffen the paper! I used two coats first to seal the paper and then painted it with acrylic paint. Then a couple of more coats of the fingernail polish. I then added some sweet fingernail art stickers and two more coats of polish after that. After it is comletely dry add the finishing touch with the black paint to have a few chips! When you do the last step it really is amazing how much these look like enameled pieces.

A HALLOWEEN BEE
A couple of years ago one of the members of the MSAT doll group asked for donations for a Halloween display that was going into a small Museum in Michigan. I decided to challenge myself and signed up. The results were Beatrice the Bee. She is the only costumed doll that I have done and I really loved how she turned out! I have hand sculpted her Trick-or-treat pumpkin too which is full of candy. I made a small cat lollipop for her to hold. She is 3 1/2" tall and looks wired from candy already and looking for more!......LOL

MY CROOKED HOUSE
Well darlings, I finally received my package from Rik Pierce with the missing chimney and wood I needed to complete my "Crooked House". I also received the owl brackets that fit under the front window upstairs. They are really sweet and will need to be painted.

In the last picture you can see in the corner where the two walls meet my paperclay has a gap. I need to put a small amount of glue there and add some paperclay to fill in the gap. I was really happy to see that my baseboards ended up at the right level when the house was put together. Less work at that point. I have all of the wood for the roof prepainted and can start adding them. I also need to add a little more "wash" over my bricks. For a wash for your grout color it is about 1/2 cup water with 2 drops pf Hippo Grey and 1 drop of black paint added. You can adjust that formula to fit your needs. Once the bricks are completely painted I will add some more paperclay over parts of them so it looks like over the years it has fallen off, exposing the brick.
As you can see from the photos, I still have quite a bit to do before I have a finished house. The hardest part is behind me though and now that the last of our Summer company has gone I can focus on finishing this up.

BABY SHARING
I haven't posted a picture of one of my babies in awhile and thought I would share another one from the past. I then will get photo's of my Rik Pierce house to show you haw far I have come with it. I still have some work to do on it as I haven't had the chance to do a thing since the class other than gather(my favorite thing to do) all of the paint, glue, etc. needed to complete the job!
I hand sculpted the biscuit, pacifier and the little bead toy that Eliza is holding.
