CHRISTMAS TREE

I bought this little tree at a doll show last year and it was already decorated. I love how it looks. I set it up with some of the little dolls that I have purchased and a puppet theater that I made in a workshop. The wonderful Santa I purchased at an Estate sale. I don't know who the artist is but he is made so well. The tiny elves on him are amazingly small and detailed. They are finishing up the dollhouse on Santa's lap. I have this in an unfinished display box that my daughter bought for me. One of these days I will address the interior!

    It is a beautiful tree and display! I love all the toys and wrapped gifts.

    Now... The second thing that really caught my eye is the rug! did you stitch that? It looks just like a pattern I bought from Bobby Schonmaker. I haven't stitched it yet but it is on the someday list. LOL

    Catherine, Isn't it gorgeous! I was buying some lots of vintage dollhouse items on ebay and this was in one of the auctions that I won. I really love the colors and it is made so well! You would make a stunning carpet with your stitching abilities!!

    O my, Patty, this little scene warms my heart! You have some treasures there and someday you must show us the theatre you made in detail. But at the moment, I am in love with your Santa! A most exquisite one!

    I love your scene and Santa Claus, I like him because he is asleep. It is true that it must be very tiring to be santa Claus.
