BABY dressed by ZOE BARINGO

Zoe Baringo and I did a trade a few years ago so she would have some new babies to dress in her amazing clothing. I thought I would share a couple of photos that she sent to me of the dressed baby! She also makes the most incredible nursery items. Here is a link to her website for those of you not familiar with her work! It is well worth a visit!!  http://zoeminiaturas.com/

Aren't her dresses gorgeous? I wish I could make these too. I love how delicate they look!!

  1. WOW! Those dresses are unbelievable! Does she do the embroidery for them or are they antique handkerchiefs she uses?

  2. Catherine, She does the embroidery and also knits. She told me that her Grandfather was a textile merchant and it sounds like she has quite a bit of old lace. One of the items we traded for was an incredible bassinet that has some gorgeous lace on it. She has a picture on her website in the bassinet section.....my name is under the one that I have.

  4. I see that she is going to be in Chicago in 2011 for the Tom Bishop Show. I will visit her table next year and hope I can buy something of hers.

  6. Patty, both the baby and the dresses look marvellous :). True work of art! Did you model the little one after your own? She's adorable.

  8. Thank you so much for the comments Kim, Sans and Genevieve!!
Sans, I just sculpted the baby with no reference. She doesn't look like my daughter did. I am not sure if I could master portrait dolls......it is very difficult.

  11. Malu dijo...
